SUSH06 – Mikael Stavöstrand – Housedays **OUT NOW!!

This very special double pack from Sushitech belongs to Mikael Stavöstrand who has already proved his skills on labels such as Contexterrior and Defrag. The tracks in this EP combine dark techno beats with organic instruments, it’s a perfect balance between them.

This record begins with ‘Housedays’ it starts with a massive bass and dark percussion and takes you all the way forward until it explodes with a great acid line. Pure sickness of tune. On the same side we have ‘Freakin Beatses’ this track shows the artistic side of the project, it’s classic Stavöstrand with clicky beats and a gorgeous guitar riff running through the track. A real peaceful production from Mikael and Dawson Baca. Turning over to the B side of the record ‘Q Fresa’ is a deep and long track, soulful chords and a Spanish vocal that takes the listeners deeper than ever, a very hypnotic track that will work perfectly in after hours and deep techno sets.

Moving on to disk 2 we have 3 remixes which work perfectly for all of the tracks. First up to the remix plate is Digitaline (Cadenza) stripping things right down to the bare essentials yet still managing to capture the main elements of ‘Q Fresa’ and create a sonically pleasing piece of music. If we flip disk 2 over we find a monster made by Koljah who makes his name stronger with every production that he releases, ravey remix for ‘Housedays’ that will make people fly listening to it in a club! Last on the record Ralph Sliwinski (Below, Hartchef Discos) does Q Fresa and takes it housier than the original using more natural elements and design and great texture for this vinyl. Sushitech 06.

SUSHP06 – David Labeij- Choose Red **OUT 01/10!!

David Labeij who just released his first single on Remote Area and also a member of the Polder due steps forward to bring us Sushitech Purple 06.

Heading straight for A1, David delivers a great minimal house track which instantly grabs the listener’s attention, it has groovy beats that we can compare to some of the Perlon records with this style and holds great purple melody! On the same side ‘Mary Oyster’ starts on a percussive tip, funky groove, vocal cuts and freaky effects on the top that creates a small and smiling melody. A great track for warm and sexy dj sets.

Turning the record over we have an amazing tune, David puts his magic and create a very interesting track that stand between modern minimal house to classic deep house sounds, long and hypnotic groove and very summer feeling, It’s definitely the highlight on this wax and great record for all the Melchior / Zip fans. SUSH07 – Anonym – Huis Muziek Vol.1

We start this 2 disc vinyl series with the listener being given an introduction to the city and home of Anonym. The famous techno motor city Detroit. After a well informed introduction things start with Spec Huis. The track begins with a nice groove to it and a melody which slowly builds as the track develops taking things higher and higher and keeping the listener locked to the groove.

On the flip side we have Project Huis which could be described as a slow drugged up affair (depending on your state of mind) sure to be classed as a more experimental type of minimal house with the aim of delivering yet another take on things. The last track on this release is Acid Huis an inspired house track with a hypnotic melody and raw rhythm. This is not to be missed! Sushitech 07

SUSHP07 – E. Bridge – Folklore

This Sushitech Purple 07 double pack belongs to E. Bridge (Alejandro Mosso) who is already known to us from his previous record on the label.

The first record is opening with Altossucios, the famous guitar track of Alejandro that has finally arrived!! A very deep and emotional tune with lots melody from the latin guitar and a deep rhythm that makes this track perfect for long dj sets and after hours. On the flip side we have Puente Del Inca. This track starts with wave sounds that take us quickly into the groove of the track and then just explodes with great childish sweet melody that is sure to put a grin on your face while listening to it.

Moving to the other record we have a great remix by Dandy Jack who really needs no introduction. The track starts with a deep kick drum with some filtered percussion which makes up the main groove on the track. The guitar of the original track is used on this remix in a very intelligent and subtle form. The track twists and turns through atmospheric elements and tight bass parts finally exploding with the main kick driving things forward and creating frenzy on the dance floor! A genius production make this track sounds like few tracks into one. This is Dandy Jack taking Altossucios all the way to the Queen of Mars!

Turning to the flip over we have another beautiful remix for Puente Del Inca made by Gregorythme (Digitaline) of the Cadenza fame. Taking the original track down his own path Gregorythme creates a very wise minimal tune that builds up from a great lead bass and keeps the melody of the original track in the background making a great flow of a mixing track.

This is very exciting project that we have worked on for a very long time and we hope you will feel the music in the same way we do. Sushitech Purple 07
